Business goals first
BCL’s starting question isn't about which colors you like, but rather what job the site will perform for your business. A consultancy might aim for qualified leads, a store for completed orders, or a personal brand for a credible presentation. These goals do not require the same page structure. During the initial meeting, we collaboratively define the target audience, existing content, workflow, and success metrics.
From proposal to delivery
The needs guide suggests a starter package; this suggestion does not automatically constitute a contract or imply the inclusion of every possible feature. Pages, languages, integrations, revisions, and client-provided materials are clarified within the written scope. Design approval, development, and launch verification are distinct stages. When a change request arises, its impact on the scope and timeline must be transparent.
How do the systems differ?
Forge deals with publishing and licensing processes; Shield focuses on security and control; and Care handles post-launch maintenance based on the selected plan. These are not interchangeable terms. For example, purchasing a maintenance plan does not automatically include a new e-commerce module. Check your proposal to see which components are included in your project and who is responsible for what.
