Frame the decision correctly
A product page is not just a space for photos and prices. Intended use, dimensions, materials, compatibility, and delivery terms influence the customer's decision regarding suitability. If you are selling a service, details regarding the output, scope, revisions, and delivery process—rather than physical attributes—must be clear.
What should be considered during implementation?
If selecting a variation changes the price or stock status, display this immediately and clearly. Photos must correspond to the selected product; do not present a representative image as the actual product. Visual descriptions and information about the selected variation must also be accessible to visitors using screen readers.
Review and next steps
Use customer questions to improve your content. If the same question is frequently asked, incorporate the support team's answer into the product page. If a comparison table is needed, highlight actual differences; placing the same checkmark in every row does not facilitate decision-making.
